  McDan Foundation Constructs Lecture Hall Complex for Catholic University of Ghana     Dr. Daniel McKorley, CEO of McDan Group of Companies Dr. Daniel McKorley, the Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies and the McDan Foundation has performed a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a lecture hall complex for the Catholic University of Ghana in Fiapre, Sunyani. The complex, to be named the McDan Block would comprise lecture halls, Radio & TV Studios and offices for the Department of Journalism of the University. Dr. McKorley disclosed that the project was in fulfillment of a promise he made to support the infrastructural needs of the University. Professor Daniel Obeng-Ofori, the Vice-Chancellor of the University described the project as timely, as it will house a campus FM Radio station that would facilitate the practical training of students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Journalism programme. Government will not apologise over Ashaiman  military operation – Deputy Defence Minister Hon. Kofi Amankwah Manu - Deputy Defence Minister & MP Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency The Deputy Minister for Defence, Hon. Kofi Amankwa Manu has stated that the government will not offer any apology for the presence of armed military men in Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
